Dislikes

...is a full on dictatorship. They will cut you loose when you have done your part. They will hire 3 ppl instead of u by paying them half of what they pay u. Also ppl are fired because of personal conflicts and not because of performance issues. This company is the absolute worst. 20 ppl left in less than 2 months, and they are hardly 100-150 ppl strong

It pays you pretty good compared to other companies.

Dislikes

No work life balance.The whole crowd is of BITS Pilani or Goa pass outs. So youngsters with lot of energy to suck out from.People are heavy in drinking. Company doesn't have any Learning and development programs .Environment is of "work work and slog like a donkey full week, then drink at weekends to get over the pressure ". No supporting managers.

Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?
