Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I gained great knowledge of overseas admissions process.

Dislikes

I would not recommend this company at all on so many grounds. First of all, the company has terrible organisation skills and has no empathy at all towards their employees. From past 1 year they have laid off their 2 employees which were working for more than 2 years with them, they didn't even had the courtesy to let them know about the layoff inside the office. The employees were told not to come next day while they were on their way home. The employers have great ego issues and low character. I was not even allowed to pick my things, my notes from their office after laying off. They are not even worth 1 star as there is no job security.
