Why's salary still treated like a taboo?

We work 50+ hrs a week for money, yet the one thing we don’t talk about openly is… salary. Someone once told me, “If you talk about pay, HR will think you're difficult.” But shouldn't knowing your worth be basic, not rebellious? It’s weird, companies want transparency from candidates, but won’t return the favour. Ask a simple “What’s the budget for this role?” and suddenly everyone’s “still finalising”. Bhai, finalise toh tabhi karo jab we’ve finalised expectations too?

...nd tells client that he is a designer).. they will deduct your money randomly .. that won't even pay your last salary and incentive. they will ask there team member to call you and ask you not to come office any more and they will clear salary but when you will ask for salary they will drop a mail showing its your fault and you will have to pay .. this is not with only one or two person.. they have done his injustice with more then 10 employees .

I learn here many things but the thing is there is no value of the employees.

Dislikes

No Value of employees. No appreciation & appraisal. No salary on time. Owners shows their attitude many times. TBH They are just like Lala Contractors.
