No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?

In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Nothing is to be liked except infrastructure

Dislikes

There are a number of reasons to dislike . *The executive management at school is not competent. *Nepotism is a problem . They sponsor their knowns . There is no acknowledgement of performance. *A few management members like buttering. *Office politics is a key reason behind a bad culture . *Firing is very high . They fire instantly even on a notice of single day.

Nothing, No democratic value. Management has no professional experience. Shortsighted, no team orientation, behave like uneducated.

Dislikes

Work envoironment is not at par, rude, the main issue , no good educated person in the management , the behave like a local shopkeeper

Colleagues are very cooperative.

Dislikes

Everything...There management, the procedure,work culture. They give you accomodation and fooding in return they want you to work in the evening after school. Parents aren't cooperative at all.
