Decent work life balance, no layoffs during tough times

Very low salary compared to industry average, Low hikes after promotions and minimal other benefits. Company has 0 culture, hardly any office parties or budget. Even the office is tiny and they are reluctant to change.

There's nothing to like about a timesheet and micromanagement culture. Salary is below market standards as well.

The only thing you will get here are Multiple timesheets and messed up work life balance. People leadership is pathetic and there's too much blame game going on always.

Hikes and promotions are very low They don’t have a solid business mode set yet , they expect advisors to do extra curricular activities on top of BD and project work and still have n number of various KPIs to reject ur promotions or salary hikes. Only few people keep on getting good projects and salary hikes .

The people and culture of Mastercard is very positive. Everyone is very easy to reach out and helpful, which really helps in learning and growth.

The continuously reorg happening in Mastercard is really affecting the promotion cycle and culture

Great exposure to the business with 360 view over payment industry, non-supervised job, paid on project basis, has a library of every single work that has been done and delivered to a client. Great respectable brand, scalable model.

Dislikes

Org. Structure is very complicated, lots of politics and agenda for every team within the big organization, you need to be careful, they hire people with no payment or banking industry experience, only consulting background and they become front-liners meeting bank clients in a very technical industry. They end up deploying experts as contingent workers reporting to the consultants. I think it’s a recipe for failure.
