No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Likes

I love Skoda brand and thats why i joined there. The interior and infrastructure was quite good.

Dislikes

I didn't get any job training there. They offered incentives at interview time and none of us were getting it. None of the team mates and team leader were supportive and that make you feel disappointed at the initial as a fresher. I hated their behavior either. You cannot improve your skills there. The colleagues try to distract you and even destroy you from job by very cheap methods when they feel like you are good at the job and thus they deel insecured. You will have to work on sundays and have to stay till 8 even if you are a girl and your house is at a 35 km distance without getting the payment for overtime.
