Management is not qualified to run the university. Faculty is highly underpaid and salary is not on time. No incentives and allowances given. Faculty is expected to work on weekends.

It has excellent infrastructure. Admin staff are mostly supportive.

... and waste of effort - Work life balance suffered terribly during the lockdown - Salary is seldom paid before 20th of the month - A component of the salary deducted during the lockdown (33 percent) termed "deferred salary" is yet to be paid to staff. There is no commitment as to the timeline.

...ority to someone who is not eligible for the post. putting Doctorate before Phd. salary comes after 17 of every month. before naac you are very important for them but after any inspection you are no longer required. they will throw you out without any reason or they can give you any damn reason so that you can't say anything. people actually do planning and plotting to remove not only an eligible candidate also to close a programme running successfully.

I've become a better person in terms of handling pressure. Though I joined as an Assistant Professor, I never felt like one. I was rather made to feel like a Clarke.

Dislikes

So many things. Managerial aspects, work life balance is a hoax in this place. Weekends are never yours, weekends are cancelled as per the managements whimsical fancies, gender biased place. Only lackeys can sustain and grow there.

If you are hard as well as smart worker, willing to work like corporate culture, peaceful environment, world class facility for students and staff, one of the best international university in North india, my experience during my tanure was excellent.
