Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dont like anything at all.

Dislikes

What should I start with… They make new rules on their whim. They will hire you for 1 responsibility and make you carry the whole office on your shoulders and wont even talk about increment. Also if they make you do other dept work forget that you will get a new title so you cant add anything to your resume. The second in command doesn’t know anything about their product but they will question your work because they are in a bad mood.
