There is nothing much to write for this company. While salary is good & above industry standard, this is the only good point.

Lot of politics. Many things are happening behind back that impacts moral & job security. These back stabbers fill ears of management. Unfortunately I felt that management supported such back stabbers and listened to them without verifying facts. I would strongly recommend if you have other options take those option than to sabotage your career here.

Salary is fine. They can offer a comprehensive salary (not the best as per industry standards but good) if you have the skills. I Got a WFH kit worth 15,000 when I joined. Work culture is good, though it may depend on your project members. The upper management however will listen if you face any issue and approach them.

Little to no work life balance. Specially if you are working from home. Most of the days you will have to work for 10+ hours. Still the work never seemed to end. And this is the case across most technologies and projects. A lot of people there complaint about this. Also, I had a really bad experience with my tech lead and lead developer. I was new in their project and they did not help me in any way to understand the project when in fact it was their responsibility. As a result I was struggling with work. Instead of helping, they went behind my back and complained to the higher management about me. I also tried to explained this to my PM and RM but nothing helped. Ultimately I resigned as there was no point in struggling in a project with such toxic environment.

1. Extremely low salary. Salary below market standard 2. Poor appraisal and hr policies 3. Appraisals never happen on time 4. Low appraisals. If you are being promoted to next level then max appraisal will be 50k a year. Avg appraisals are like 3-4 percent. 5. No learning at all.

I believe they were hiring keeping some future project in mind , hence they were open to any salary . They did offer me a nice salary .

1. They have a tracking tool in place , which tracks all your activities . And they need 8 hours of productivity . And they have a list of productive tools / websites which are only considered productive . For example , they dont consider UDEMY as productive , so if u plan on learning new things for the project via udemy , thats not productivity . Like wise for many useful sites , blogs etc . So completing 8 hours is a pain . 2. The upper management will talk nicely , and say we are always there , but when the time comes , u r not the priority , the client is . 3. Please do not get into pearson projects , they are all shit . They will make you do the BAKWASS work , and the pearson team will do all the smart work . 4. At the end i would say , just take the offer and make a counter somewhere else , dont join Magic . 5. Just another bol baccan company 6. Also they dont have a probabtion period , so u r on a 3 month notice period from day 1 . Thats a trap , please dont join Magic
