I join it because at that time it was a challenging job, at that time HIV/AIDS was in the form of a terrible and due to less knowledge everyone was scared of this disease. More information should be spread in which we were very successful. It was a great opportunity to prove counselling skills so that people would be convinced to get more and more test done in which we are successful, it that time most of the people did not want to work in the even the medical staff in this field, discrimination and suicide rate and treatment shortage was the big problems. It that time "M.P.ADIS control society" did a very good job,our seniors, our officers were very good and everyone's dedication was to stop this epidemic. The adult education and school ADIS education program for the student in the entire district was of a very high standard in which we covered all the schools in the entire district, the experience was very good as there was a lot of opportunity for interaction with the student. Performing IEC activities and program preparation and management, motivational lecture very good experience as expert lecture in every government or private offices rotary club etc. In a different types of work places like factory areas, jail, truck driver areas and slum area, red light area,MSM and MSE groups, got a create opportunity to interact with different type of gender groups, all kind of people and got the opportunity to study their behaviour, real and totally practical experience in the field. which is very handy for life. My success as a psychologist while worked here proved that I organised perhaps the world's first and India's or MP's first HIV /AIDS positive peoples conference in Indore where for the first time HIV positive person appeared voluntary to give interview in front of the big media groups. Because this was the task given to me that the person suffering from HIV/AIDS should volunteerly reveal their identity. Thank you 🙏
