The organisation overall is average

First of all this is not an MNC by culture. The poor condition of Lummus India office is because of the local managers. They are actually local. No ethics, no culture, no professionalism. Current HR head is just a puppet in the hands of these technical managers. And reason being that she once upon a time was a secretary to Director. Just imagine the fate of organisation. The organisation boast of giving opportunity to work in technology but people here get residual work.

Likes

Organization is overall quite good but it's totally manager driven. If you are manager is good (most of them are) you can survive. I was a little unfortunate in my case.

Dislikes

If you can satisfy your manager's ego, only you can survive there. Otherwise they will throw you like anything giving any silly excuse like performance issues or whatever suits them. Higher management blindfoldedly accepts whatever your manager says. They don't care enough to listen the employee's part. So, join the organisation only if you are ready to be a full time slave.

Likes

Very friendly and familial work culture. Minimum politics, little hierarchy and open culture. Gives opportunity for all round exposure for process engineering.

Dislikes

Not very conducive relation with parent office. Local top management not very growth oriented.
