It has a salary structure at par with Government of India with an additional Parliamentary Allowance which adds as a booster.In addition it has also a Lok Sabha Satellite Television Channel Unit relating to Look Sabha Television.The Secretariat has its own Recruitment and Conditions of Service Rules. The Rules of Government of India do not automatically apply to its employees. They apply after due examination followed up with Adaptation Orders.The Union Public Service Commission and the Administrative Tribunal Act do not apply to its employees.
