LICI is a psu organisation and I got an opportunity through competative examination in a higher grade salary fixation due to my past service in INDIAN AIR FORCE . Working environment in LICI is absolutly different than any other organisation as it entrust the employees performation and their skillness to explore themselves independantly however guideline is there and all the employees are guided by the seniors and experienced officers. Apart from the technical point in the working field employees are given adequate training in their respective working parameter. All together the employees are promoted as per their excellancy and assessment round the years. Salary is more than expectation and every after 5 yrs. it is revised. All other facilities on retirement is as per GOVT. rules( Central Govt. ) Now , let me say about work culture which is your own alongwith all other employees where cooperation , coordination and accomplition is interlinked just like as internate. Innovation is your own as per the employees thought and freedom to work independantly. I DO HAVE 24 YRS. OF PRESENT EXPERIENCE ( LICI) THAT IS MY ASSET AND I DO BELIEVE THAT MY EXPERIENCE PAST ( I.A.F.)AND PRESENT = 15 + 24 = 39 YRS. IS MORE THAN SUFFICIENT TO HANDLE ANY SITUATIONS IN ANY ORGANISATION MAY BE TECHNICAL / OR/OFFICE ADMINISTRATION IN FINANCE OR HR DEPARTMENT OR CUSTOMER ORIENTED JOB. BEING A RETIRED DEFENCE AND GOVERNMENT SERVICE, RENDERED BY ME IN MY WHOLE LIFE I CAN ASSURE ANY CHALLENGING JOB I CAN ACCEPT PROVIDED ADEQUATE OFFER AND FACILITIES IF PROVIDED TO MY HONOUR.

Dislikes

Direct recruit and promotee divide.....preferential treatment to direct recruit officers.....perhaps coporate policy. In the marketing side there is imbalance in work-life.

Good bonus Good incentives Respect given by whole team of LIC Good guidance and counselling and training sessions at LIC office

There is a heavy workload of getting policies and sales which is very tough to get popicies on dailg basis to achieve target.
