Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Worst experience ever the employer is so cheap and third class person to ever work. With always do bitching types of activity and no professional atmosphere at all.... Always interfere in personal matters of other employees and interns... Doesn't know how to be professional with the person you are working with and felt very good after leaving feels so luck to leave that toxic place
