Average place where diploma engineers get average industry standard salary in starting to till confirmation of employment. They provide enough training to employees (only nuclear departments). Workmanship who's working at base level in shop floor is genuinely good at work and their behaviour compared to other companies HR is coming up with good employee satisfaction initiatives.

Dislikes

Work pressure and work culture both are different to office employees and shop floor employees which is not fair. Very less promotion and hike is given to nuclear quality department compared to other departments. Nuclear quality control department is getting detoriated and no good leadership is there people are resigning due to some managers/DGMs who are playing very bad politics and genuinely good employees are resigning just because of them. Canteen facility at Gate 1 is worst food anyone deserve company should improve that Diploma engineers are not getting promotions where newly joined GETs are getting opportunities which is not fair everyone should have equal opportunity in same department Transportation provided from city to campus is old and outdated compared to compitative company Company should not hire diploma engineers if they don't want to give them future opportunities just don't ruin there career.

Skill Development and training parts are good for us.

Dislikes

Working culture, Work life balance, appraisals & benefit or salary are points are poor as compare to other Company and this is not good for long life work at here.

...ble to restain quality talent Management thinking not in line with today's time. No trust on employees by HR/ management Compensation and Salary benefits below market levels Partiality in promotions No respect for employee during his leaves. Expected to work from home/remotely.

Ample of learning and training opportunities, leave policies are recently updated. Always focuses on Skill developments. you will get early responsibilities. Good support from seniors and management in project executions. sports and other activities are executed well. job security is High.

Dislikes

....no flexible timings. No official tea breaks. no hospitality to outside vendors. Salary compensation corresponding to other companies are still less. Postgraduates and higher studies didn't make any difference while hiring as well in promotions.

The most important thing I like about my organization is that it provides equal opportunities to perform and showcase their performance, it empowers individual to take critical decisions pertaining to their department regardless of their experience and qualification. Another important aspect is we are given numerous training and upskilling opportunities to grow ourselves. Job security of L&T Heavy Engineering is undoubtedly very high, and company strives to maintain a good work-life balance for its employees.

Dislikes

...ings which in my view needs further improvement, 1st one is Salary/Compensation. I feel salary structure of my organization is lower compared to industry standard and 2nd is Appraisal and Promotion process, which is having some loopholes and needs further improvement to make it fairer and system bound.
