Management is giving opportunity to work independently & proactively, encourages to apply engineering innovations. I was nominated as engineering project manager for Keonjhar III project. On successful completion of engineering of that project, I have been awarded with new project as Project manager (Dharwad DWSS). At the same time i have been working as Civil & Structural lead engineer for several other projects. As a result of all these rich experiences & opportunities given by the management, I am equipped with necessary technical & management skills.

Dislikes

Pay structure can be revised. Sometimes work pressure is high but that comes with the additional responsibilities & completely understandable.

Likes

Job security is excellent , Salary is on time for every 28th , Work Culture is average , management is supportive but they don't have a time to identify good performer , Company policies and facilities are excellent in India. Overall Worth company it is and my dream was fulfilled because of my experience in L&T.

Dislikes

No growth in Supporting department like Quality. Hike rate is poor and In Site life , we can think only about work not life .So No work-life balance at all. 12- 14 hours work.

Likes

Among the companies in Water and Wastewater Treatment it is a company with significant projects, and provides opportunity to work on Mega projects. These experiences in further help us enrich our technical knowledge. I also like the job security aspect, as company has a solid foundation. Medical benefits and other facilities provided are great compared to other corporates. There is a noticeable effort made to encourage female employees and many programs are available for growth.

Dislikes

...valuing its employees as assets, I get a constant feeling that I am replaceable. If you are non ambitious person who doesnt want to do much but want a decent salary then the place is for you, because they wont throw you out for non performance (Just do a little to show you are working). For putting effort there is no compensation which is very discouraging. There is no opportunity to travel abroad (at least at my level)

Work Environment is good. And having job satisfaction in the work i do. The Canteens are appreciatable, Office is kept Clean and hygiene.

Dislikes

There is no Work Life balance, and the Salary hike is not adequate. The variation in site and HQ salary is enormous and it is difficult to manage. While joining the salary has been mentioned as 7 LPA but after confirmation it is 6LPA. Even at COVID Times WFH was not preferred and got affected by covid 2nd wave.
