Kraftshala is my fourth workplace and there are few things that I loved about this place. 1. Company Culture - The company and the people here truly have a soul. There are folks who genuinely care - as much as they can in a professional setup. Nibedita on the marketing team is someone who will message you and check on you if you or your family is unwell. And it will not be a polite conversation starter, followed by work related questions. But messages with genuine concern. There is Ankush in marketing team. He is a fun person to be around. Always lending a ear (from his tightly packed schedule) and also helping generously with work. Even the leadership team here is kind. I remember Richa, our HR, once got me a surprise cheesecake to cheer me up. Eshu, our co-founder and my LM, one of the most kindest managers I have worked with - always so generous in giving knowledge and helping to improve your skill. I am an innately emotional person and there have been few times when personal issues or work related situations have overwhelmed me. And I remember Nishtha, our marketing head, comforting me, lifting my spirit with pep talks. She once said 'We are all human, we make mistakes... your performance doesn't define you as a person'. That really stuck with me. 2. Everyone works hard - One thing I really respect here is that from the CEO to interns, everyone works their as**s off. Making you want to push yourself too. 3. No Office Politics - There's a lot of honesty and transparency in way things work here. No politics, no games - everyone is too busy in their work ;) 4. A talented bunch - Every hire here is competent. You won't feel like you are working with people who have no idea what they are doing. Every team has smart , hardworking & skills people. I also admire the intelligence & skill of the leadership team. All three with their own strengths. It's a great learning experience to work with them. 5. Freedom and Ownership - There's a huge sense of ownership here. No one is just told what to do - you have to take charge of your work. Every idea is open for discussion. No one comes after you, if you make a mistake while executing something new. Of course, you are expected to reflect, and present a decode of why the mistake happened, and how to prevent it next time. 6. Their work truly helps people - The service that company offers is genuinely helping people. During the course of my job, I had the opportunity to talk to a lot of Alumni, and I have first hand heard the happiness in their voices and seen the joy on their faces when they talked about how before kraftshala they didn't know how their careers will pan out. But Kraftshala really transformed their professional lives. - And lastly, we have fun parties. And people always bringing in yummy food / snacks Things to keep in mind - Kraftshala is not for everyone. The pace is fast, expectations are high, and because the team is small, you need to take on a lot of responsibilities. You are held accountable everyday. If you are looking for a place to just cruise along, this won't be the right fit. But if you like the grind and working with driven people, it's a great place to grow

Dislikes

Because the teams are small, you have to take on a lot of work. And while this gives you great exposure and growth, it also leads to feeling burn out. Of course, this depends on which team you are working in, and your role.

My experience at Kraftshala has been nothing short of exceptional in terms of learning, personal growth, and professional development. The exposure this company provides is truly unmatched- even when compared to industry giants like Amazon, where I have previously worked. While Kraftshala is a startup, it plays a significant role in shaping top-tier talent for leading MNC's. The work culture here is incredibly supportive and collaborative, making it feel like home. Peers are always willing to help, and no one hesitates to step in when challenges arise. In the fast-paced edtech environment, sales roles often come with intense pressure to meet targets. However, my experience at Kraftshala has been quite the opposite- a culture of engagement rather than stress. The leadership team, including managers and team leads, is highly supportive and understanding. They work closely with individuals to identify challenges and provide solutions, ensuring that everyone grows at their own pace. Personally, I started as an intern in February 2024, and within just six months, I was promoted to Senior BDA- a remarkable growth trajectory compared to the slower-paced environments in many other edtech firms. Looking ahead, I am excited about future opportunities in managerial and leadership roles within the organization. At Kraftshala, performance is truly rewarded- a principle that aligns perfectly with my work ethic. Hard work, passion, and results never go unnoticed. In summary, Kraftshala is an outstanding place to work- offering tremendous growth, a team of highly intellectual professionals, and a friendly, supportive environment. Working here for the last 2.5 years has been an incredible journey of growth and learning. The challenges that come up in sales each day push you to develop new skills and gain insights, making every day an opportunity to grow. One of the best parts of working here is the people. The team is filled with genuinely empathetic colleagues. No matter the situation, there's always someone ready to lend a hand, whether in your dept. or from another team entirely Talking about professional development, we are encouraged to take on diverse projects, which keeps the work interesting and broadens our skills. Even if we make some mistakes, people would like to understand the challenges behind them so that they can help us to improve on it

Its not a dislike, But if you are someone who wants to genuinely add value, go above and beyond toward the work, then Kraftshala is the right place for you

The best thing about working in kraftshala is the freedom to carve your own path. There's no fixed roadmap, its your journey where you can bring your ideas, make mistakes and grow. If you are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, you will fit right in Moreover, the people are awesome, extremely helpful and supportive. The hard work you put here GETS PAID!!

There is no as such dislike. But sometimes its little hard to maintain work life balance.

The learning approach is what I like the most and also the work culture here is something that stands out here.

Just every other startup work life balance can go for a toss but if you are looking to grow i don't think so this should become a hindrance
