The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role
It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. Companies run on numbers. If you don’t negotiate, you leave money on the table. Have you ever been in a similar spot? How did you navigate it?

Extremely strong teamwork, perfect training and retraining of staff in all fields of work.Job security depends on individual's discipline and carrier progression courses undertaken. The army employs its members from all corners of the country with divers cultural background and deploys the staff all over the world if need be,thus making its staff members compatible with any working situation, circumstances and location. I like the slogan that says "join the army and see the world",which i strongly support through experience. The Army is apolitical in nature, making its staff members worry less about political interfearances.

Work-life balance is the daily challenge, family life is not a priority as the job demands 24/7 presence at work.Holidays and leave is a privilege but not a must.Life expectancy majorly depends on tasks at hand and area of deployment, which depends on threat levels mostly dynamic in all security fields.when call for duty arises, work pressure trickle down to all family members as well because they emotionally get affected by not being able to predict the outcome especially when dealing with Al shabaab and other terrorist threats.

KDF is a well discipline force. You work as a team as brothers and sisters. But the bosses are treated as god's. There is no politics in the forces. Training is the best but in promotion there is likeness. If you are good at work forget about promotion.

As prestigious force, airforce is full professional soldiers where every individual is allocated duties to perform. In air force time and accuracy is the most interesting part of life. We work to support our sister services like the Army and Navy especially when supplying then with urgent deliveries of war within the shortest time possible. Our primary role is protecting our air space against external aggression as well as assisting the public during disasters by supplying items of emergency or performing rescue mission. What I like about the air force we are made to belief in working as a team for a better result as no plane will fly if everyone is not doing his/her job. With pride we rule and secure our skies by keeping watch on 24 hours basis.....Thank you.

A time work pressure amounts especially when there is task to be done that calls for decision to be done on that moment. When the mission is set other personal problems has to wait for another day which might demoralise the working spirit.
