They have good clients. But you should be lucky to get into that project.

Salary is not on time. You are in the company only till they have the specific project. As soon as the project is over they will tell you to resign from the job. Salary is not on time. Management is very poor. No medical policies. There is no one to answer your queries.

Owner and management doesn't know the future of the company. Internal dispute amongst the shareholders and directors. Zero percent job security with no skill growth and professional development. No Amenities and pick up and drop facility. There is nothing to be like at Katalyst. Delayed salaries in each month. No job satisfaction because nothing to do in job apart from watching YouTube and Netflix whole shift. No big project, many IT folks are on bench for 3 to 4 years. I doubt how could this organization got best work place in Illinois state. Yes, katalyst is best place to work 'NOTHING'

If anyone got an job offer and want to do just time pass and learn nothing with having risk capacity to loose job anytime also with getting delayed salary YES this could be the best in industry. Let me tell you What I got during my three year tenure. Yes all month salary expect last two months as I forced to resign stating that company does not have money to pay. Even in whole COVID period, pf deducted but not submitted to PF office, still chasing with zero response. Yes, katalyst gave me three year employment but I struggle a lot to get job after katalyst due to having no exposure in any big task.

There is no fix salary date. Sometimes salary gets partially. PF is not credited since 2019. No fixed appraisal process. Anytime there can be lay-off. When it was DSR Infotech that time it was great place to work later it changed to Katalyst software Services and everything messed up.

I enjoy my teams. I enjoy working with people, and I enjoy doing my own thing a little bit. Software engineering definitely allows you to do both and, depending on what kind of company you work at, allows you to do more of one or the other based on what you want. There's a lot of flexibility in that way, too.

Dislikes

The fact that I actually have to use my brain. Don't get me wrong - I love that 99% of the time. But every once in a while I'll just want to do something mindless and stop thinking for a bit. You can't really do that as a software engineer since your mindlessness will introduce bugs that you (or other people) will have to fix later.

Dislikes

Overall there is slow growth in the company as knowledge and other monetary factors concern. Don't provide transportation and shift allowance.
