Had some amazing peers who's relationship got destroyed due to excessive toxicity, from the upper management.

...g appraisal knew nothing about me, my strengths etc. and 0% appraisal is common. so you are in there without a salary change without years. Coming to salary it is controlled by one person so if he delays in approvals your salaries may not come on time , sometimes we got it on 4th - 7th ! just letting you know. If you have fieldwork be prepared to shed out you salary because reimbursement comes after 90 days, so you are out of money most of the times, I had to borrow money from home. Fieldwork mostly happens on Saturday and Sundays. So be prepared to say goodbye to your friends and family when the whole world is enjoying you are working. :D The other lady leads were supremely toxic who got laid off too, so no point in writing about them. Working here was tough with bunch of jerk offs who won't even know the spelling of some words but have enough smug to guide you on what wrong you are doing with your life. Overall, this is a pretty small company, that is why it is the way it is. Classic example of a toxic work environment. Almost, everyone has gotten laid off from his company stating work performance which is sick.

Immediate manager is very supportive. They will allow you work as you like, learn and grow.

Dislikes

...fe balance. They will make you work any time, any day. No weekends and holidays. Salary is bit too less. Sometimes we are not getting paid for continuous 3 months. HR is not supportive at all.

Team shows motivation towards some new initiatives and one researcher gets opportunity across variety of research. Nothing else is good apart from that

Dislikes

Company has more number of VPs and Managers than the executive level persons. The senior management does not have good relationship with client and treats junior employees in a way that - "I'm paying you so work". I remember working on a 78 slider presentation within 18 hours because of a manager made a commitment which cannot be fulfilled. Several product propositions to the clients were non-existed when the brief got approved. The Field research team is known for incorrect recruitment. However, Management has a blind eye to that. Some of the employees are bullied and body-shamed by senior management but no actions taken against them. However, strict action is taken if you are not in the "protection umbrella" of your line of business. One more thing, company follows a Hire-Fire Policy. I know that company hired incompetent abusive managers and fired talented qualitative research managers because they were not getting any support in BD. Hence, I consider this company to be the dark phase of my career.
