Kalinga hospital is Odisha’s first corporate hospital & located at heart of the city.

Dislikes

Though this is the first corporate hospital of Odisha, but they have not been updated the system. Very fluctuations in the management.

Likes

Average routine work, employees make lobby for increment and growth. Merit has a little chance.

Dislikes

It was a good hospital upto 2010. Thereafter, due to anarchy particularly created by MD's PA, self styled MD, the company lost of its credibility.

If you are ready to explore the health status of remote odisha, Kalinga hospital will be a good place as it will give u experience of working in a superspecialist hospital as well as realise the health status of poor people. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The admin is cranky at times but thats everywhere in the corporate sector. Overall good experience. Some of the clinician are brilliant especially Dr Amitabh Rath, Dr Paresh Jena, Dr Biswajit Nanda, Dr Brundaban Nahak, Dr Sunil Das

Dislikes

The duty room is not upto standard. It stinks a lot. It can be improved. The canteen is not hygienic at all
