The only thing I liked about working in jsw Steel is work life balance ( for assistance officer post).

This is really long list 1) salary is very bad , i was working here for 7 years , did you guess how much I was getting?? It's only 25k per month for 7 years of experience only bachelors can survive with this salary. I had some friends who were married , and saw them struggling to meet their day-to-day expenses. 2) About increments: average increments ranging from 4% for average performance to 12% to outstanding.Even if you get outstanding, below L8 grade get peanut because of low basic salary.(40% of salary consists of variable incentive which depends upon achieving targets) and increment percentage is same for all grades. 3) About company policy: A worst company policy which deals with the accidents/fatal happening inside of plant, according to this policy if a person dies inside the plant during his working hours then the variable incentive of the department which he belongs becomes zero.(Think about those employees who took any loan). 4) About work culture: L8 and above grades are management level grades, and they are considered as Angels came straight from heaven. Priority were given for them for everything (obviously only for good things).

They don't reveal the original salary structure during the joining period. Once you joined u will be get to know that the take home salary is much lesser than what is told you during joining time. The factor is PI, they will told you u will get your PI monthly but actually it's not paid here. So who will be want to join JSW please ensure the PI factor during salary negotiation.

Promotion based on reporting manager or hod favorites, hike is very less and for others fault in case of any death happens then production incentive for all other employees is deducted for that month and if more than three such incidents occurs then for the whole year they will not give incentive amount.

Standard accomodation facilities for employees not available being a remote location. Empowerment is less to employees. Senior Management Team is very poor. Management is bious in each and every aspect. Nobody cares about lateral hires all focous is to please GETs.

Best work environment for learning.

Dislikes

No standard salary structure. No importance of experience in appresel. Just balancing the rating. Once you got outstanding, next you will get very good rating whatever performance you do.
