Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!

I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. The only benifit I got it from this institution is I got a three (3) years working experience in a government institute.

Dislikes

At this institute your salary doesn't depend on your qualification, it is depend on how much the governing body likes you (though you are a graduate, diploma holder, b. e or b. tech, m. sc etc). Even a grade 4 (hs passed) employe get more salary than a grade 3 (graduate or diploma holder) employe.
