One of the best EPC Company in the world,especially in Middle East,salary is good compare to another companies,most of the managers are Japanese ,they are very punctual and very strict.work environment is very good.no stress.but the duty time is almost more than 10 hours.

Most of the Admin staffs behavior is not good.

I fed my family and satisfied my other life's needs with the salary they paid to me No doubt I am always greateful to JGC .Individuals while accepting a job offer ,they select their own style of working. The result comes as per their attitude. 1.You can be a neutral/lazy/liar/manipulator ect..ect.. 2.Or can be a dedicated employee loyal to the management who is working to achieve the objective. I selected the 2nd option.This gave me a very good reputation and job satisfaction. Unfortunately the reputation and frequent appreciations from the Clients ,highlighting my name personally in the management meeting.resulted a big reason for professional jealousy towards me from some of my colleagues. Yes it affected my further assignment to JGC .They managed keep me stay away from JGC But I am not worried,things happened in my past life was always for good.

It seems to be a Japanese MNC, but its not. Senior positions and mid managers are given to Indians which bring in again the same old Indian mindset at the workplace. No flexible work times even for emergency reasons needs to come office or apply leave. HR rule books are too confusing and not at all employee friendly.

JGC as a company is rich in technical expertise. Every individual who got an opportunity to work with JGC has a good chance to grow internally in terms of technical knowledge and management skills. Company provides assurance on the JOB guarantee which no EPC industries had given. JGC have a great track record of retaining people during many Recessions. They give value to employees to maintain their work life balance.

Dislikes

HR Policies at Indian operating Centre (JIC) can be further improved. Admin facilities and infra needs further improvement to meet day to day activities.
