...nd fancies subjects are given to teach and next year another set to prepare for. What they pay they like to squeeze out or else leave . 1000s will come 1000’s will go. Teachers are like coolies.After 13 years of service with four years of no leave , after completing an academic session I went to meet my son for two months after my husband passed away. On coming back my increment was less and when I asked , I was told it’s break of service so I resigned at once

Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!
I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.
