New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Nothing at all, it is the worst company to work with.

Dislikes

There is nothing to like and their is no independent HR team . The HR team is totally under the influence of production team and management. No discipline in the company.

No one there from this company management about your work, your performance any thing except your boss if you are working in this company. The Good thing is that you will treated as others if your performance is poor also. So do nothing and enjoy once you elected not selected.

Dislikes

We can say LALA company, I worked almost 4 years with this company at top position as Project Manager still I am not sure about who is managing this company. Do not know the management, only one person is handling entire company and that too without any official mail from him. I not even received any single mail from any other person from this company apart from HR mail id. All work is done on call instructions only.
