The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role
It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. Companies run on numbers. If you don’t negotiate, you leave money on the table. Have you ever been in a similar spot? How did you navigate it?

The potential impact of product that can be given to its client. Software team: If this is your initial job and only job offer: for resume points you can go ahead but know when to quit as there are better organizations that respect and value you. Here you will realise the importance of good culture by experiencing/witnessing toxic one. Product: Probably you will be the only one person expected to bring structure and realise that this place give you hopes of authority but no power.

...ice and work. Additional working hours are extended if the delay is unbearable. 4) Less salary than industry standards for software. Product slightly less 5) No knowledge transfer or training in process. You will end up giving up and pretty soon forgetting PM concepts as you cant apply any- well you can do some but at end of day you simply have to make people get their task done. 6) High attrition rate. Hire Fast but Fire Faster. So there will always be lack of bandwidth to get task done cause that's is what is expected. 7) No nearby eateries around or inside the building. Paid in-house lunch.

Because it is a startup it boosted my career, because i was the one who is setting up my own laptop, i was the one who has to read a book and implement solution, i was the one who setup all dependencies in my system just to run the project. Anyone wanted to join this company just ask yourself this - are you willing to learn and grow and sacrifice your mental and physical health.

My dislikes are - - low salary - salary on 4th or 5th of month - abusive boss, like they will abuse and shout on you Infront of whole office - poor HR management, they promises of comp offs and make you work till 3 am or 4 am but in 3 4 years no one get a single day comp off - working on weekends too even on Sundays - no employee benefits - 24*7 work culture - no work from home even if its urgent

I have been working with company since two years and the company. It has been an amazing experience. My team and my management were very supportive of each other. If I had any issue to talk, I could easily go to my reporting manager or HR team to ask for some advice and guidance. Specially, CEO sir was very supportive and lead us in various projects. He made sure that I was properly trained and helped me immensely in my career by providing me more projects and responsibilities. Two years have flown so quickly and I feel very proud that I was a part of this spectacular team.

The learning curve is good. The technologies which they are using are niche technologies. So with respect to learning this is good. Staying in this company is worthy if u can survive with the most toxicity and u are completely ok with it.

The worst work culture ever I have seen/heard. The CEO is the worst corporate person ever seen/heard. The HR manager is the most toxic person ever seen. In this company the people who can do lots of buttering got promotion. They force us to work on every weekend. The company does not even think about the employees well fare. We had to work up to 10PM - 2PM forcefully. Even also we don't get neither the dinner amount back nor the transportation amount back. If you don't agree to work on weekends (even on sunday) the CEO will scold you in front of everyone. The management is very bad. Comp off was promised but never given. Even no extra amount working extra.
