an associate software developer

Need career advice for data engineer

I have been working in a life science company as an associate software developer for 3 years now. The works pretty okay, with occasional late night work. The hikes have been bare minimum, 4-7% over the last 2 years and this year I'm expecting a decent 10+ % hike. The thing is there is not much room to grow here and I'm stuck because of dependency and financial issues. My official notice is 90 days and I'm honestly afraid to drop papers without any offer and hunt for jobs, moreover nobody reached out to me till now with my notice being 90 days. Feels like I'm stuck in a loop, and my learning curve is also stagnant in the data engineering field. I complete my day to day tasks on time but the learning is like minimum. I'm not confident in my skills and I don't know where to start. Genuine advice is much appreciated, thanks !

They are engaged in unlawful activities, They dont compensate you for planned weekend work. So you end up working 6 days a week. I actually escalated manager , and HR . Made them to learn statutory requirements. I will soon write to Aris bousib now about malpractices. HR will never support you.

Everything they hire unqualified HR, dont know how to calculate salary structure and offers.

Salary is good when you join from other companies. Do ask for 100% hike. They will give you if you have talent. But don't depend on hikes and promotions

Some of the clients are good.

Dislikes

Too many parties, no increment in salary but Team Lunch, Quiz occassions, this celebration that celebration always happening. Leaders inside IQVIA projects speak like: We always hire the most useless people for our projects (extremely weird) Rude people are awarded and promoted, not the skilled ones in coding or work No ethical practices, the Non-retaliation policy is only for showoff Lot of threatening and dominating goes on inside the organisation which is very strange, HR refuses to clarify stuff. During a conflict, somehow the manager's words are taken as correct no matter what. There's no investigation or anything 👍🏻 Not a good company to invest, company in DEBT in 2024, all details about debt conditions of IQVIA mentioned in Google. Be careful while making decisions about joining or investing in this company!
