Need advice in choosing the company. I have an offer with TCS with 10% variable and another offer with ICE almost same CTC but 20% annual bonus. For ICE, the HR says that the company will be paying 100% of the 20% bonus annually and the only criteria for this bonus is I should be an employee of the company (not resigned/serving notice period while the bonus is paid out) unlike TCS which pays quarterly, and the bonus amount depends on various criteria like company's performance, unit performance, employee ratings, etc and it may not be 100%. Please advice me if I should trust the ICE hr and go with the offer. If someone working for ICE, Please let me know how this "Bonus" Concept works in ICE.
Edit: 20% bonus mentioned is included in ctc. With 20% bonus included the ICE offer matches TCS offer,for exmpl if TCS is offering 100(90+10 variable)ICE is offer same(80+20 bonus) & this bonus will be paid without any deductions whre as in TCS 10 variable may vary depending on multiple factors
