Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Overall average experience.

Dislikes

Compensation was average but I did not get any growth in the company. Manager's way of talking was not professional, which is why working in that environment was not so easy. Sometimes, I used to talk with my colleagues and their thoughts were also not different from me. Then I took a decision to quit myself from that situation.

Nothing poor management

Dislikes

HR Neha herself is very unprofessional, hired on monthly basis and after 10 days coming back saying we will let you know that your salary will be on hourly basis or not. Concerns are tantrums for her, rather than resolving concerns she says jo karna hai kar lo and shouts like a kinder garden teacher everytime. Manager Chander is very diplomatic.
