New offer. Confused.
My current CTC is ₹7,80,660, which includes a ₹1,32,000 night shift allowance, and my monthly take-home pay is ₹72,133. I have received a new job offer with a CTC of ₹10,67,231, a monthly take-home pay of ₹83,333, and 192 restricted stock units (each valued at $60, vesting 25% after one year and quarterly thereafter). This new position is closer to my home and does not involve night shifts. The offer letter is attached. I have also requested a ₹95,000 monthly salary increase and am awaiting their response. Could someone advise me on whether I should accept the new offer or remain in my current role?

Likes

Salary is good for those who are ITI or Diploma holder. Job Growth as standard of Govt jobs. Maximum GP 4200 till retirement. Job is good for those who like to travel but unscheduled timing of Job create lot of problems physically and also mentally. A little bit stressful. And unscheduled timing create medical condition severe under 25000 ⚡ volt. As compare to other Govt jobs it is tough.

One of the corrupt organisation in history of india. It looted common people and salary gives to the officers only who are posted junior there benefits go on vein.

...torious staff and made him dependent on railways job he have no way to leave it. Juniors are getting very low as officers got 5 to 20 fold salary of juniors but there work is very poor even cbs, CMI/CCI even write a letter to officers just copy it forward it the officers. Seniors only know how to exploit this junior employee by not giving proper rest leave holiday leave etc

1. No work life balance (Saturday is not offs & an employee is expected to be available 24 hrs on duty), 2. No growth opportunities especially if you join at a particular Post (SSE), 3. Very poor work evaluation system leading to improper and mostly biased evaluation of employees promoting unworthy employees & resulting in low moral & enthusiasm in most Staff.
