Training opportunity is not proper because some people who are not required in urgent & hard works are nominated many times for training . There is no proper evaluation system in promotion with respect to performance & people who just please to top management get advantage .

I don't like the culture at IOC. There is little appreciation on efforts. There is no transparency in ePMS rating system. It is the one thing that undermines talent of loyal employees. Any type of reservation in promotion should be abolished. Bosses/ management actions are immature/ indecisive and unable to set right example for the future generation. There are very few visionaries in top management and organization is mostly top driven. It is affecting operability, profits and margins.

Being a government company, it gives good salary and provides good additional benefits on top of salary. Specially the kind of unlimited medical cover is something you would not get in private sector.

Dislikes

Workplace is full of toxic seniors. Lot of talented people join IOCL but the system they have does not use the best of them. Work culture is not supportive and people are majorly involved in petty politics. Rarely people get chance to do quality work there.

Good work environment and culture. Copany police are good. Management also transportation

There is a lot of politics and management doesn't address our issues salary is decent but career growth is slow on the job training not given to new joinees
