Infrastructure was good, Job type was delightful since it covered inspection work to other States, liberty in job function, innovation probability was available in work function, discipline and obedience was fundamentally sit-ups, targets were sit-ups to reach out goals. Peace was there in functional part and social occasions. Those days are rememberable.

It is establishment in 1875 with a mandate to take weather observations and to provide it for current and forecast information to agriculture,irrigation,aviation,transport,shipping etc. It has a highly qualified and skilled scientific working force spread over country. Being a member of world meteorological organization(WMO) it has international commitments too such as exchange of weather data,providing training to Asian countries in various areas such as Instrumentation,Meteorology,Computer science,Agriculture meteorology etc. I have wide exposure for getting opportunity to provide weather services at New Delhi(HQ),Mumbai Airport,Guwahati Airport, National climate data center,Agricultural meteorological division and Instrumentation division at Pune weather office. I got excellent opportunity to get training on climate data management system at Toulouse,France by Meteo - France International. Attended many conferences/workshop/seminar on the subject. Published many research papers.
