... don't join this, it will really make u suffer. You will feel like running away. Salary is very less and expectations from u are like vice President. Work life balance is not there. Ànd trust me if you want a peaceful life then don't take this job. If any how you get here then just leave in one year only. Only work work and work, no other activities. You have to pay for each every thing team lunch, team dinner and any team outing. Nothing is financed by company.

Work environment and employee friendly work culture .Again it depends on the team which you are into .

...e HSBC the work culture is excellent ..it's Soo employee friendly organization..but again after 2017 the performance benefits like bonus hike has been reduced due to cost cutting and people have bee laid off due to automation .Apart from these things As an individual I had spent very good time at HSBC..but again having said that when it comes to the small teams it depends on the Manager who is professional and supportive as well.

HSBC is become a bad place to work with every passing day. Employee benefits have become nil and compensation is extremely poor. In the name of cost saving company company is taking away everything and with the systems not working on a daily basis company expects you to deliver quality product which becomes a challenge. Employees are not judged based on how good they have done through out but 1 mistake and u will be penalized badly

Its a great place to work at... I have learnt many things from HSBC... Learned how to tackle things and how to do the right thing at the right time...Hsbc valuea and ethics had a great impact on my overall character... I changed my character a lot while working in HSBC..I came to know about fraud risk, credit risk, management risk and so on and how to handle them

To much of politics, back stabbing, if you just want to take salary and go home best place to work, but if you are looking for growth, then you have to battle a$$ lickers, and over come corporate politics which is not easy.
