Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Being a thorough professional and an experienced person,I like putting my 100% all the times.

Dislikes

After working tirelessly for 10-11hours daily (some staffs 12+hours) 7days a week,(without any off days) inspite of having 70+Staffs,the company doesn't pay any Provident Fund and ESIC benefits.During interview they promise everything but after joining they forget everything.If staffs leaves due to Toxic work Culture and unnecessary pressure from MD Sir,then they do not PAY pending Salaries also.If you ask,then they stay silent and never revert back.Work culture at Hotel Jyoti is very Traumatic and Poisonous.After working dedicatedly and tirelessly,when I thought to leave,as I couldn't digest any more Unnecessary, unrequired mental pressure from MD Sir,then they didn't pay my Salaries.This has happened with many staffs previously and now has happened with me also.Labour Laws are grossly violated here.I suggest not to work for such Companies.
