Firstly it's really a great opportunity to work and happy for being part in such a wonderful Organization atleast as a GAT as of now. that to at the time of ongoing HPCL-VRMP PROJECT. Luckily i was assigned to the Projects Department under one of the Finest Sr.Manger my Role is to monitor the scheduled Jobs like Fabrication, Erections, Fitups, Welding of Piping and Structural jobs,PWHT, Charging of finished lines, Hydrostatic pressure tests. Besides for any processing industries Work Permit system was crucial here we majorly deal with HOT, COLD, EXCAVATION & COMPOSITE Permints we have to issue them every day. Another great Exposure we gone through is refering of large number of GADs and P&ID drawing sheets, PO copies, BOM from different world class vendors which was really great space to Boostup your skills from the scratch there's lot more to express my experience but I'm limiting my excitement which you experience yourself once you entered into the Organisation. Apart from the technical side there's another most important statutory duties which we learnt in HR department is Labourer Welfare, Safety and Security these are very important things to remember for the benifit of any contract workers Both CLRA & ISMW by continuous monitoring of ESI, EPF, INSURANCE, WORKMEN COMPENSATION, WAGE RATES BASED ON SKILL AND CATEGORY, SALARY DISBURSEMENT.

Its a Maharatna PSU and a good platform for any Chemical Engineer to Learn.

Dislikes

No proper manpower given to any department. If you are performing well you will be dumped with more and more work. No scope for work life balance. A refinery person is expected to work daily beyond 12 hours. If something is good it will be your bosses achievement and if something fails it will be your lack of focus.

It is a company with numerous opportunities in it and working in it will give you vast knowledge and experience which may guide us through a successful career. The management showed much more interest in guiding us which is our pleasure.

Labour payment is not fair. I personally feel for the cleanliness

It is excellent experience in my life.it cares me and growth mi like mother. My mother gave birth and feeds 25 years but my HPCL feedsmy entire family remaining more than life. I learned a lot mrom my beloved company. It my second mother. Even I retired it cares me and my family. I am very much thank full my HPCL .

No dislikes in my heart. I enjoyed my job even in shifts also

It's very great experience working in the HPCL... knowledge taking from HPCL is useful for life Time as a chemical engineer..but they have to recruit some student from apprentice also because they get very well knowledge about all plant and they can do work effectively...Hope so.and industries employee and their culture is outstanding very helpful nature is there..lovely.

Dislikes

They are do not taking appreciate student which are completed from HPCL Mumbai. they conduct exam base on BSC syllabus and taking student of BSC graduate ..and apprenticeship doing diploma and B.ech student that's drawback of HPCL
