Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Everyone here is very supportive & helpful, feels like its your second home. The seniors, director treats everyone with utmost respect, even if any mistake has been done, they calmly help you to tackle the problem despite of yelling or shouting at you. Extremely flexible work environment. I had one of the most happy time working here, & I wish Himsattva a great future ahead.
