Frankly speaking, there is no trill in j&k govt service. Like other states, good pay, work or no work, govt rates you on your politicals links and how much you can pay bribes. But word hard has value in Jk ERA, JKPDC and Chenab Valley power projects const corporation. With the help of big companies, J&k has completed some good works.

Dislikes

In every state, due to interferences of some gready IAS and politicians and some Judges, life remains with tension. However if you are living a balanced life, one can go ahead with ease.

I have worked in government sector only.Thus donot have any experience of how corporate sector works

In my system pre defined rules for governance are in vogue and all are required to work within the ambit of these rules.However the system does not differentiate between performers and non performers.

IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR, THE GOVERNMENT TAKE ALL CARE ABOUT ITS EMPLOYEES. WORK CULTURE IS EXCELLENT.

THERE IS LACK OF COORDINATION BETWEEN VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS.IF CHANALISED THE WORK AMONG VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS ,WE CAN GET WONDERFUL RESULTS WHICH MAY ULTIMATELY BENIFIT THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

Likes

Problems of the people are numerous so being helpful calls for speed and innovation. This brings public appreciation and enhances reputation of the Government.

Dislikes

Government has been generally resource deficient. This often delays action. Added to this is lack of desire to raise local resources which limits people's participation in development.
