Job security, great place to gain knowledge. Salary will be on time.

Work culture is not good. Misbehaving HOD. No action against union members even they misbehave with the staff. Too much politics. Too much work pressure. Discrimination between labour & officer facilities. Labour gets more salary & benefits compared to a well educated officer. Lot of torture by the HOD & union members in HR dept. Need to work in extended hours with no extra pay for officers, but worker gets overtime pay/hour which is double of normar pay.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

I have worked here for 5 yrs in corporate planning team the learning was tremendous. Team is great and supportive, the functional heads are very helpful to people across all functions. No petty politics. I had to leave due to location constraints of my family or else i would never leave such a great organisation. The MD is very driven and forward looking, the top management team is very ethical at the same time. They gave me all options to retain me unfortunately our constraints couldn’t be resolved but still they treated me very well till the last day and the MD personally calling up to wish good for future was something I didn’t even expect. Somaiyas are one of the best employers !!!
