The work life balance is good. Since the unit is small, they are flexible with hybrid working model. Gallup survey is taken very seriously and always look for improvements. Strategy for growth is communicated clearly and the input/suggestions from individuals are valued. The possibility of developing your career and settling in other GKN sites abroad is high and it depends on the role availability. However it happens after you have proven yourself in the role and a long tenure at the organisation. Depending on the role, the chances of exposure to top management and upskilling for the business needs is quite good.

The salary band is fixed and it is bit on a lower side compared to other Aerospace companies.

...gement is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Trainee period is 1.5 year with few salary.

The company has been my place of work for the last 23 years and has had many achievements and losses like many companies but its always been a good place to work if you have the right attitude and drive to succeed. I could only say the down fall is that managers change too often and it takes along time to train them up to standard.
