It is a MNC and a good pay master.

My views are about GE power India - Division ofThermal energy (specific department based), Groupism spoils the whole build up. Can survive in concern only with a upper hand blessings in you. Actual working condition is not considered for completion of job, any unnoticeable action permitted for completion of a project and getting payment / performance of the equipment. Young engineers are asked to resign and they depute old / retired people through third party for service just to manipulate things as per the wish of respective department higher levels in a projects.

Flexible timings, degree of autonomy at work.

Dislikes

Pay disparity. People who started their career with the company and have stayed for a long time earn significantly less than lateral hires with similar experience.

...rt term contract.So job security is poor,work culture & management is also poor. No other facilities except Salary . so policies is also poor.

Package is good and the lunch is subsidized.

Work life balance is less than zero, job security is extremely negative, career growth is not that much if you dont oil your manager, company culture is terrible, everybody will point fingure at you in the board meetings and managerment makes sure that those who do not oil managers are systematically demotivated and periodically devastated so that their output gets decreased and they can be sacked with no explanation whatsoever.

...bility on business directions and is pioneering the energy transition very well. Well calculated spin off and business realignments are expected to pay off well.

Dislikes

Inability to manage and maintain product portfolio. Too many changes and uncertainties in product roadmap and product evolution, leading to skill erosion and upskilling issues. Divide in managing disparities between core and non-core skills and performances leading to stagnation in growth of mid senior level teams.
