Pay scale should be a bit high, No RSUs, gym and internet reimbursable amount should be high. Pantry tea/coffee doesn't taste good, lunch is boring.

Even being at a good position as a professional in this company there is so much of politics, blame game, micromanagement, discouragement, favoritism, torture, etc., by senior. so so stressful atmosphere and all the pain is useless when it is asked to resign or the company will terminate the employee. HR tries to stay clean by just fulfilling their required job at base level and employee doesn’t feel safe to share in the company about what employee has been through to prove the worth of the employment to the senior/boss. I joined GE considering it was a employee centric company but the management approach doesn’t results in this direction and I believe It’s a very risky company to join.

Dislikes

Most of the project teams will have 1 to 2 members from GE rest all from vendor teams(tcs Capgemini etc..). You won't get much chance to work with GE team members so GE culture is getting diluted Code quality of vendor teams won't be great so its upto GE members to fix it. Work life balance is not good for GE people After people leave, less hiring to fill roles so work pressure increase
