Unexpected job policies: stay or switch?
I recently switched jobs with a 48% hike, and my current in-hand salary is ₹35K. But after joining, I realized a few important things that weren’t mentioned during the interview. 1. No Phones or Bags Allowed – We have to keep them in lockers, which I wasn’t informed about before joining. 2. Working Saturdays – HR said all Saturdays are working but assured that one Saturday off per month would be introduced soon. I can't see that happening anytime soon 3. Phone Policy Confusion – When I asked HR why this wasn’t discussed earlier, they said it’s only for two months and won’t be the case at the new location (which was discussed earlier). But some old employees say the same rule applies there too. 4. Leaves – We get 21 paid leaves a year. I’m already thinking of switching. Would it be too soon to leave within 3 months, or should I stay for at least 6 months? Also, since I just got a good hike, how much can I ask for in my next job?

A very good infrastructure.

Dislikes

...e. The management is highly unprofessional and lacks basic communication skills. The workload is excessive, with long working hours and no overtime pay. The work environment is toxic and unsupportive, with a high turnover rate of employees. The hotel policies are unclear and constantly changing, making it difficult to keep up with the expectations. The management does not value the employees and their efforts, leading to a demotivated workforce. The lack of proper training and guidance makes it challenging to perform tasks efficiently, leading to frequent mistakes and reprimands. Overall, the work-life experience at Pushpanjali Hotel has been extremely negative, and I would not recommend anyone to work there.

the atmosphere is very dull and recism is at the top of the sky managers would trying to impress the owner only behavior with gusest is rude no management system no improvement in skills and no chance of promotions and no other option to get rid of that

compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes i have to work 14- 18 hours Straight in a day as i have to attend client in the eveing and sometimes late into the night Managers Do Not Value the work they always Find a way to de-great the workers only
