The company has no culture it is more like working for a general store in street.. Totally unorganized starting with basic office infra we had our office like cow shed and has to work 24 hours a day and keep sending same data on request all the time. My manager visits the office once in 6 months and everything goes on phone and Its politics then its learning and gaining knowledge. Flipkart is surviving only because its in India which don't need to follow rules. We dint even have Toilets in our facility and no health and safety rules. Its awful to work and I was given rating first and then found reasons to justify the rating. I have never seen a company like this where rating should be done as per your performance and the productive numbers but its only done on how good you satisfy your manager with food and other things you do.

I would like to enjoy the work and good teammates and good Supervisors. I learned from the work and good experience in my work. I worked in IMT Team . In this team I learned the new things. Thank you.

Dislikes

The work pressure is very high. Compensation is decent but growth is slow. I do receive appreciation emails from my client but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid year appraisals. The company rules are not good. Thank you..

Everything is great , exposure to work the ones who studied in IIT's , NIT's and many more experienced seniors .

Dislikes

Though the work is almost same for Application Enginee-1 and SDE - 1 , but pay is less when compared to them .

- Great work-life balance - Good salary package and other perks (employee only term insurance, health insurance for family) - Manager is very supportive

Dislikes

- While coming to the growth. Not the right people get promotions - Not much learning opportunities.

Likes

Flipkart is a people oriented organisation. You get better work life balance which includes 30+ leaves a year and 10 holidays. Flipkart uses multiple new age technologies which is good for anyones learning. Leadership is also good.

Dislikes

Salary increment can be improved and salary correction by looking into the market can be done. 2nd with the IPO plan going on, there are lot of cost cutting happening. This can be reduced.
