The salary was decent as per market standards. There was good work life balance. If relationship was good with the department head or line manager then your career was secure.

Politics, instability in the structure of departments, Job insecurity.Sudden change in department heads. Poor integration of various businesses. People felt they could get away without doing their job. It didnt matter much.

...nagement in India using it as personal cash cow. Hiring friends in key roles. Poor compensation and spate of firings.

Worst organisation, cafeteria without vendors, no hike in the salary,HR and Management people only says FAB is the top bank in UAE but but they don’t know about Indian market and facilities that other banks are providing.

They work mostly in hire and fire rules They hire cheap contractors and provide no perks, at least they can provide respect - everyone is leaving their home country and contributing to bank's success No job security No flexibility No value for authentic people and their voice Internal management conflict all the time Fear lingers all the time about your job security or being a victim to company's restructuring (politics) policy Outsiders will always be outsiders(Non-UAE nationals and contractual workers) No growth Salary range not fair

i) There is no concept of annual salary increment in FAB GBS. You will remain at the same salary at which you join. The management is trying to implement the UAE policy of no increments here, completely oblivious of the high inflaton rate in India, high tax, and appraisal policies followed by other MNC Banks who have set up their offshore centres in India. ii) No autonomy is given to Head of HR in GBS (infact now there is no head of HR). All decisions will be taken by UAE bosses of respective departments, and the HR here is expected to just communicate the same to GBS employees.
