The day I found out my colleague earns 30% more for the same role
It was an accidental slip. A teammate mentioned her CTC while we were chatting casually. Same designation, same team, joined after me but her salary was almost 30% more. My stomach dropped. I spent days debating whether to bring it up. I didn’t want to come off as insecure or difficult. But I also couldn’t un-know what I knew. Eventually, I had an honest, data-backed conversation with my manager. Turns out, I was right and they revised my pay. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me this: silence doesn’t protect you. The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology.I love the fact that i am a part of a team that markets reliable, high -quality products and has a global client base.As a result, I get to travel in INDIA especially Taj Mahal and Kila.Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration.I also like the employee re-hire policy here.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent,but growth is slow.The work pressure is very high.Sometimes, i have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as i have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night.I do recieve appreciation emails from my client ,but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals.
