Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

I liked nothing about this company.

Dislikes

The most toxic work environment I've seen. The upper management constituting the MD and sons along with friends have no respect whatsoever towards their fellow colleagues older than them. They abuse and shout in the office and they treat legal professionals as their clerks. It took 2 months for the management to clear my full & final due to the incapability of the accounts dept manager. Everything runs on paperwork. No adaptation of digitalization. Unnecessary pressure on the subordinates to get work done.

I have worked for more than 4 years. Good exposure in work. Very good working environment. Good colleagues. There is job security. Salary / appraisal are good. I am very happy for having worked in Ferns.
