No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Nothing to like about.

Dislikes

I'm completely fed up with the lack of work-life balance here. The CEO treat us like we're his personal property, constantly yelling at everyone. He calls all hours, day or night, as if he owns our time. To top it off, there's absolutely no job security-people are fired without any notice whatsoever.

Nothing to like about it

Dislikes

Company has no work policy, no benefits of any kind, no medical allowance, no salary increment, no leaves for 1 year. The CEO treats you like his personal assistant. Will allot the work at any time of the day.. Even at 11 pm to 12 am. Company has no employee of permanent.
