GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

Worst startup you can ever work with. I was hired as a digital marketing expert for this organisation where in my expertise was totally into paid media and they lured me saying that they are gonna come to that. Coming from a good MNC background, carrying 3+ experience, had a lot to give in terma of my expertise and skills, I thought why not to give it a try working for a startup. Honestly it turned out to be a bizzare 4 months experience for me, from the moment I joined, the management had hygiene issues. There is no management, there is no culture and no benefits. Managers over here having 1-2 years of experience were handling team without knowing anything how to handle one. I still didnt loose hope and thought lets wait more, something will come up for me and all I remember is getting a call from HR that they are downsizing. The company is not safe and secure in any terms, they can hire you one day and they can fire you the very next day, no learning curve for anyone. The good ratings you see are basically from the interns and designers who were a part of this whole gang and gossip thing. Don’t think joining this organisation, it could be your worst nightmare, you will waste your time and expertise. Go for startups who are thriving and have a good culture, management and etc.
