Prior to Syntel my package was too low as per market std. Syntel gave reasonable hike. anuual increments were good. QA department has good work life balance and good team bonding compared to delivery. Team parties/outings in QA were excellent. It has good recreation facility and people are allowed to use it. Gym facility could be improved. but i used yoga room quite a lot and was very beneficial for me. initially onsite opportunities were good but later i didnt find it even though having visa. Soft skills training is excellent.

Dislikes

During most of my tenure though on paper CTC was good but hugh part was variable pay which was corrected in the end. In delivery work life balance was not available so moved to QA. Like any other company too much internal politics spoiled the work culture which should be avoided. Working hours should be improved for better work life balance. People with medical condition should be allowed to take sabbatical or long leaves( without pay is also okay) without discrimination. People at lower ranks can also have medical conditions which can affect their mood/productivity. Work from home atleast 1-2 times a week should be provided. People with H1b visa should be used properly for onsite opportunities. Once people leave company with good term then HR should make sure that no negative feedback is passed to the next recruiter.

I had work life balance as there were not much work at ATOS. The had a decent package already.

Dislikes

There is no job sescurity in ATOS. I strongly recommend not to join the ATOS as they would throw anyone out when you are not. Although ATOS was not like this before 2 years. This is what happening in ATOS from 2023. The company actually is coming for closure/sale of its part of the properties due to heavy debts, hence there is a volatile situation. There are no new projects coming in and also many of the projects are getting cancelled. The biggest problem with the company is the management is not at all worth enough to run an MNC and hence the downtime, which in turn has no furture for the employees. There are much politics involved in ATOS.

Spent a lot on infrastructure. Could’ve taken care of employees first.

Dislikes

... based on your performance but experience and favouritism skills that you carry. Worse Salary and Much favouritism resulting in loosing projects from clients. This company is never Employee Oriented! Would not recommend at all!

Likes

Work life balance is awesome. Most of the projects are europian or American, so travel opps are there. No of leaves are way more than what other companies offer and can be utilised without challenges.

Dislikes

Jobs not secure, they just fire if Bench aging is more than one month. Yearly salary increments are very bad. Admin and HR processes are badly messed up, nobody knows about policy clearly.

Work culture is not good. Not a good company for Lead and beyond. No hike. Insecure life as they can remove when on bench easily, regardless of your technology or no of years you served company.
